Cops nab man who allegedly made slanderous statement on IGP, Johor police chief

Police arrested a 39-year-old man for allegedly making a slanderous statement on Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador and Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay.

Comm Ayob said K. Haridas was arrested at his house at Taman Pasir Mas, Rantau in Negri Sembilan at about 9pm on Monday (Nov 23).

The suspect had allegedly questioned Hamid's and Comm Ayob’s integrity and made a false accusation through a Facebook video on Friday (Nov 20).

The 17-min 39-second video was uploaded through an NGO's Facebook page by the man, who openly named Comm Ayob and the IGP and accused both of them of not doing their duties.
