Weld Quay in Penang turned into a hive of festivity as thousands of Hokkien Taoists paid homage to the Jade Emperor Tuesday night at Chew Jetty.

The annual Thnee Kong Seh (Jade Emperor’s Birthday) celebration known as Bai Tian Gong in Mandarin was into its 112th year in Penang.
