As the tourism sector was the worst-hit during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government said it will be allocating a total amount of RM1.6bil for the sector to recover.

RM600mil will be allocated under the Penjana Tourism Financing dan BPMB Rehabilitation Scheme while RM85mil will go towards a three-month special assistance for over 20,000 tourism operators.
