The new Joe Biden administration will work to enhance relations with Asean and countries like Malaysia, says US Ambassador Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir.

Lakhdhir said she was confident of this based on US President Biden's Cabinet picks.

She said the president's team would, among others, focus on climate change and the environment which would have a huge impact on the Asean region.
