Australian cameraman struck by police at Washington D.C. protest

An Australian cameraman was struck by police in Washington, D.C. on Monday (June 1), when authorities attempted to drive back protesters gathering outside the White House.

Seven Network journalist Amelia Brace was speaking live on air when police rushed protesters where Brace and cameraman Tim Myers were stationed.

As the crowd began running back, footage shows a police officer turning towards Myer and lunging a fist into the camera lens.
