AG: We need to have a legal discussion

Attorney General Tommy Thomas says his advice to the government of Malaysia is that there are no legal objections to joining the Rome Statute but the decision to join or otherwise was a political decision. He was speaking at a public forum on The Rome Statute Pull-Out: Controversies and the Implications —Where Do We Go From Here? held at the Kuala Lumpur- Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall on Saturday.
