2.5 million documented foreigners to be vaccinated, says Home Minister

Some 2.5 million foreigners in the country with various documents issued by the government and third parties such as the UNHCR would be vaccinated, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin on Saturday (June 12).

Aside from UNHCR cardholders, foreigners who will be vaccinated include permanent residents (268, 419), temporary residents (8, 801), entry permit pass holders (22, 581), students (36, 559) and work permit holders which make up the bulk of the 1, 403, 409 total number of foreigners in the country.
