WHO team: Wuhan lab Covid-19 leak hypothesis ‘extremely unlikely’

At a press conference on Tuesday during their investigative mission in China’s Wuhan city on the origin of Covid-19, World Health Organisation virus expert Peter Ben Embarek said findings suggest that the hypothesis of a possible "laboratory leak" is "extremely unlikely," and does not explain the virus's introduction into the human population.
China's Health Commission’s expert Liang Wannian said the virus could have been circulating in other regions before it was identified in Wuhan at the end of 2019.
