MACC confirms probe into ex-Sarawak CM Taib

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Latheefa Koya has appeared to suggest that former Sarawak chief minister Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud is under investigation, in the wake of calls to probe him for abuse of power and corruption.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a beneficial ownership workshop on Monday, Latheefa added that she has yet to meet with Bandar Kuching MP Kelvin Yii, who previously said he would meet with the anti-graft agency to discuss initiating a probe into Taib.
