MACC Chief: We welcome more initiative to encourage more transparency, integrity

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Latheefa Koya said her agency welcomed the announcement by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng on Friday of two new awards for federal civil servants who come up for solutions to save cost or for exposing corruption or misappropriation of funds.
The MACC chief said that after attending a campaign against graft in Pulau Indah, also on Friday, adding that the agency also has the reward system and is looking into reviving it.
