Local football teams not allowed to participate in international matches, says Ismail Sabri

Local football teams are strictly not allowed to cross borders to participate in international matches, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said there would be no exception to the rule, as even ministers were not allowed to go abroad to attend bilateral meetings.
He said this when asked if the Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) football team would be allowed to participate in a match scheduled in Doha.
