IGP says police reshuffle to be decided after probe

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador on Wednesday (Aug 12) said a major reshuffle is on the cards for the top brass of the police force due to the retirement of several senior and top officers in the police force and not to the issue in Sungai Buloh.
He also advised the public to relay any information on criminal activity directly to Bukit Aman and that his officers have been warned not to disclose the identity of whistleblowers.
At the press conference, Abdul Hamid also said the allegation that Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Shafa’aton Abu Bakar did not take action following gambling activities in the district was not true.
