IGP: Conventional crimes down due to police roadblocks to curb Covid-19

The deployment of police personnel for Covid-19 duties especially for roadblock checks and patrols since March 18 last year has seen a decline in criminal cases.
But on the other hand, it has also led to other crime trends, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador at the Police Day celebrations on Thursday.
