Health Ministry to set up fast-track Covid-19 labs

The Health Ministry is planning to set up fast-track labs in Malaysia that can screen and produce faster Covid-19 test results.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said that after visiting the Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine Complex (CIQ) on Saturday (April 11), adding that the fast-track labs would enhance the ministry’s readiness for any possible outcome in curbing the disease.
The Health Minister also pointed out that the number of Malaysians returning from Singapore had also fallen after the republic announced its circuit breaker period starting April 7.
