Ex-Felda chairman Isa maintains not guilty plea, trial begins Oct 7

The trial of former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad, who was charged with one count of criminal breach of trust and nine counts of receiving gratification totalling over RM3mil, will take place for 13 days beginning Oct 7 at the Kuala Lumpur High Court.
Mohd Isa was charged with committing CBT by approving a proposal for the purchase of Merdeka Palace Hotel and Suites in Kuching, Sarawak, for RM160mil without the approval of the Felda board of directors.
