Drop in crime index nationwide during MCO

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Mohamed Said told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (July 20) that the enforcement of the movement control order (MCO), conditional MCO and recovery MCO had an effect on the crime situation in the country.
He said the crime index during the MCO period (March 18-May 3) was 546 cases; conditional MCO (May 4-June 9) 708 cases and recovery MCO (June 10-June 30) 488 cases.
