Covid-19: Construction sites cases confined at sites, not in community, says Health DG

The 385 Covid-19 cases in the Damanlela cluster in Kuala Lumpur so far were all from a construction work site and have not spread to the surrounding community, said Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health director-general said that on Monday, adding that the index patient in the Damanlela cluster was a registered migrant worker employed at the construction who tested positive for Covid-19 after being arrested.
Dr Noor Hisham also gave the breakdown of positive Covid-19 cases in Klang Valley involving migrant workers and said the sites could resume operation once sanitation works are completed there.
