Covid-19: 208 new cases, death toll now at 50

Malaysia recorded 208 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday (April 2), taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 3,116.
Within the same 24-hour span, the country also reported five new deaths, said Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah at the ministry’s daily Covid-19 briefing.
The total number of Covid-19 fatalities in Malaysia is now 50, which translates to a rate of 1.6% deaths.
