Clerk begins appeal process against guilty verdict in mat lajak deaths

Clerk Sam Ke Ting has begun her appeal process against a High Court decision that sentenced her to six years in prison over the deaths of eight teenage cyclists in 2017.

Sam’s lawyer Muhammad Faizal Mokhtar told The Star that a notice of motion and certificate urgency were filed electronically with the Court of Appeal on Thursday (April 14) morning.
