Snake bite victim recuperating from his ordeal

A three-metre long python bit a Thai man's penis at his home in Thailand.

The 38-year-old man was squatting on the toilet when the incident happened on May 25th.

The incident was widely reported by Thai television networks.

The man said the toilet appeared empty when he peaked in before taking a squat.

The snake then rose from the toilet bowl and bit him.

However, he fought back by holding the snake's neck and prying open its jaws.

AFP agency quoted a supervisor at the Chularat 11 Hospital as saying that the man was recovering from the injury.

The supervisor said the man could now urinate as normal.
