Many locals in Yala, Thailand are prepared to queue for a halal version of a Chinese noodle soup called Guay Jub which is served in a stream.
The stall became popular after receiving rave reviews on social media.
However, the stall owners also received criticism for allowing their customers to eat in the stream.
The owner, who comes from a family of rubber farmers, says she sells the noodles to supplement their family's income after the continued price fall of rubber.
