Man offers big bucks for long geckos

Thai social media users have expressed scepticism over an offer by a man on Facebook to pay three million baht for a gecko that has a minimal length of 18 inches.
The man claims to have orders from a group of people whom he calls “Malaysian agents” who are willing to pay for these reptiles without disclosing the reason.
He claims he is willing to pay one million baht for a gecko that is 17.5 inches in length and up to five million baht for one that is longer than 18 inches.
